Measurement of tested surfaces by contact and contactless methods. Analysis of tested surfaces by profile and area parameters.

Alice Chlupová

Researcher - specialization: Fatigue properties of advanced materials for engineering and biomedical applications; mechanisms of plastic deformation and degradation of materials, initiation and propagation of cracks; microstructure observation (OM, SEM) and analysis (EBSD, EDS) and correlation to mechanical properties (tensile, fatigue, hardness); fractography; specialization on the erosion effect of the water jet on various materials.

Jakub Poloprudský

The researcher specializes in material structure characterization and evaluation of the mechanical behavior of materials. The most notable field of interest is a description of the material mechanical response to repeated water droplet impingement. Material characterization is based on a combination of electron microscopy techniques, hardness measurement, and various metallographic sample preparation techniques.
